FIRESTONE IS A BRAND OF THE BRIDGESTONE CORPORATION
Some Firestone History
Wikipedia explains that
"Firestone was originally based in Akron, Ohio, also the hometown of its archrival, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. The company initiated operations in 1900 with 12 employees. Together, Firestone and Goodyear were the largest suppliers of automotive tires in North America for over three-quarters of a century. Harvey Samuel Firestone (1868 -1938) was the founder of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company"
"In 1988 the company was sold to the Japanese Bridgestone Corporation."

Locally the Old Firestone Warehouse was opposite Whichello's Wharf alongside the canal in Leighton Buzzard, presumably on the site of the Morgan and Company Carriage Works, located on the left hand side on the down slope from the canal bridge, before reaching the "Foundry Equipment Archway" going towards the town. The site is now part of Tesco's Car Park.
